This Petite Saison is gold in color with a slight hop aroma that is overshadowed by the wonderful spiciness that the yeast brings to the table. Notes of pepper, clove and fruity tartness bring flavorful life to this medium bodied ale and those who are fortunate enough to enjoy it! Great beer to make in the summer because saison yeasts like it hot!

If using Wyeast #3724 Belgian Saison yeast, pitch at around 85-90F and keep your fermentation temperature in the same range. This yeast has a tendency to stick at around 1.035 specific gravity, but will finish, given time and warm temperatures.

Kit Details

Complete instructions are included with the beer kit. Our instructions include target gravity levels, hop addition times, suggested and required equipment lists, and all the important brewing steps! If you need any help, you can just call us!

All of our extract kits come with malt extract, hops, specialty grains (pre-crushed), grain bag, instructions, and yield 5 gallons of delicious homebrew. Yeast is not included but we've provided a selection of recommended yeast (liquid and dry) that you can add to your order in the drop downs above. Clarifying agents (i.e. Irish moss) and priming sugar can be purchased separately.

I have to say, this is right up there as one of my favorites. Really clean and crisp. I made this in December but its a perfect summer beer, really easy to drink. Will be making this one again and again for sure!
