It may look like a blonde ale, but it drinks closer to a roasty stout. What is it? It's Trying to Decide Blonde Stout! This innovative beer starts with a light base, adding flaked oats and barley to give added body and richness. A few small hop additions balance out the malt profile. However, it is the cocoa nibs and coffee added after primary fermentation that gives this beer dark, roasted notes that make it drink like a stout. Your mind and taste buds might be confused as you sip down a light beer that tastes like a stout! An interesting new development in beer, the blonde stout, also known as a white stout or ivory stout, is a fun new beer to try brewing, and we are proud to bring you this kit to try it yourself!
