A blend of wheat and pale malts with flaked oats give this Belgian wit beer a creamy texture and a thick moosey head. Bittered with Saaz hops and finished with bitter orange peel and coriander this is your home brewed answer to Blue Moon. There is a little extra coriander and orange peel in the kit if you want to add more in the secondary to kick up the aroma. Use Wyeast 3944 Belgian Wit yeast for the rest of the flavor profile. Doesn't take a lot of aging to reach its peak.

Kit Details

Complete instructions are included with the beer kit. Our instructions include suggested mash temps, target gravity levels, hop addition times, and all the important brewing steps!

Our all-grain kits come with the necessary grains and hops for a 5 gallon batch. Grains come crushed, unless requested to be un-crushed in the order notes.Yeast is not included but we've provided a selection of recommended yeast (liquid and dry) that you can add to your order in the drop downs above. Clarifying agents (i.e. Irish moss) and priming sugar can be purchased separately.

Excellent kit but I did increase the base grains and added 2 fresh oranges to make it more of an Imperial Wit and it came out great! I would strongly recommend this with the Wyeast!

I love this recipe, I have brewed it three times and the keg never seems to last a month. I enjoy a little more citrus so I double the orange peel and it's fantastic.
