Looking for an easy summer sipper. First attempt at a wheat. Normally a porter/stout kind of guy. Infused with 5oz of mango flavoring at bottling. The recommended WLP320 was a winner too! Came out great. First time I've ordered from GF. Thoroughly impressed with the kit quality and product support. I'll be back!
Excellent Hefeweizen

This recipe was my first attempt at home brewing. The recipe was easy to follow and overall I'd say both the brew day and bottling day were very enjoyable. I initially tried the beer 5 days after bottling. There was plenty of carbonation but the flavor was a bit lacking for my taste. After 10 or so days in bottle, the flavor has gone from so-so to excellent. I didn't bother taking gravity readings, so I have no idea what the ABV is. Either way, the beer is delicious. I'd highly recommend this recipe to anyone who is a fan of wheat beer!
Great Kit!

I made this kit and added some raspberry puree to it and it turned out really good! Would make this again in a heartbeat!
Good Wheat

This easy wheat is very good. I would recommend against the wyeast (for some reason I can taste this weird flavor in them). The wheat is great. This is a good beer and you are definitely going to enjoy it. The only recommendation I can make is to get a third Bavarian wheat and add it just like the other two. It is really going to bring out the wheat in the beer that is otherwise lacking. All this being said, I found the brew greatly enjoyable. This is one people will come over and drink and find it to be one hell of a good beer. I promise if you brew the beer you are going to enjoy it and all your friends are going to love it.
Nice beer

Brewed this beer on the day of the 2014 blizzard in Indianapolis. Nice easy kit to brew. Smells fantastic. Third time brewing this. Some notes to take care of. The fermentation using the wyeast and loves to stall out. Second thing you must watch out for is the difficulty in reaching the original gravity in the recipe. If you are not careful you will end up around 2.5% abv.
