Montepulciano, when compared to other Italian grape juices, tends to be lower in acidity and have more mild tannins, giving it more of a sweet character. It has a beautiful purple color and makes a smooth, easy drinking wine. Montepulciano does well with age, and those who can wait to drink this wine will be pleasantly surprised!
