For producing a fine Mexican-style cerveza, look no further than Que Bueno! Once part of Imperial Yeast's standard lineup, this yeast is back as a seasonal strain for a limited time only! Que Bueno is a yeast that is perfect for the production of a range of Mexican lagers, from Corona-style light cervezas to rich Vienna Lagers in the style of Negro Modelo. In fact, this yeast has an assumed origin from a famous Mexican brewery with a similar name! This yeast has a low ester profile, meaning it can create crisp, clean beers without a lot of fruitiness that can finish dry. It has medium flocculation and attenuation properties. A must for a true-to-style Mexican lager of any kind!
ICE PACK INCLUDED
We include complimentary ice packs with ALL liquid yeast orders (if required), but cannot guarantee that the ice packs will stay cold during transit, and thus the yeast can potentially be exposed to hot temperatures. We highly recommend ordering dry yeast during the hot summer months or if you are ordering from a warmer climate. Many times during the winter an ice pack is not needed so we make the determination based on current temperatures and the destination!
