Perfect for all American lager strains! This yeast strain ferments crisp and clean, with just the slightest apple fruitiness. Purportedly from the Budweiser brewery, it can be used on all types of American lagers:light, premium, American-style, specialty, pre-prohibition, amber lager and dark lager, as well as Vienna-style lager. It is a low producer of sulfur and diacetyl, which means it will come out clean with less fuss than other lager strains. A number of brewers swear by White Labs' American Lager strain, using it to create classic American lagers time and time again. If you are making any style of American lager, give this yeast a try!
