A very drinkable Belgian ale, even for those who don't care for Belgian beers. The flavor is a melange of smooth malt, subtle spicy phenols with a dry finish.

Blonde perfection
Well, I decided to switch from wine to beer making a couple months ago, and am I happy about the switch. This was my first beer kit, and it turned out perfect. I let it age in the bottle for 2 weeks and tried one, and it was not quite ready, but at just over 3 weeks it was great. I think it will get even better over the coming weeks too. Very easy to follow recipe, and the aromas during brewing and transferring to the secondary were fantastic. I wanted to try this recipe specifically because of a recent trip to San Diego where I had a Belgian Blonde at the pier bistro...this lived up to the expectations and memory. I would recommend it for the beginner or the experienced brewer.

My 5th beer and my favorite beer OVERALL (not just homebrew). Deliciously drinkable with the perfect combination and balance of malt and hops.
