It's the beer of the living dead! This Zombie Dust Clone is loaded with Citra hops that invigorate the senses and engage the palate. A very light first wort hop addition keeps the bitterness down, while hop-bursting the beer and aggressively dry hopping with Citra hops give it a very pronounced hop flavor and aroma. The bite of Citra is offset by crystal 60L and melanoidin malts, which contribute body, sweetness and character to the beer, A touch of carapils for body and foam stability is included as well, perfectly balancing this beer. Delicious and inviting, Brain Eater Pale Ale is sure to please your hopheaded friends. It is the perfect beer for the impending zombie apocalypse!

This was my 1st attempt at brewing, and the results were extremely satisfying. I have not tasted its "clone" but this extract kit is excellent.

Not sure what exactly happened with my batch when I brewed it, but mine turned out a brown muddy water? Needless to say the taste is amazing. I never had the original, but I would definitely buy this kit again.. and probably will...

What a great kit. Easy to follow recipe. You'd have to be brain dead to not like this brew.

Ermahgerd Zurmbies!!!
No less than a week went by after the keg emptied before I HAD to order another round. This time, I used the liquid wyeast. It made a difference in clarity and taste. It was a step above my first brew (like it could have gotten any better than perfect...no joke, it is better!!!). I know I should brew as many different and new things as I can due to the fact of being new to this hobby. However, I can't help myself!!

Great clone and all around IPA
I have brewed 8 other kits of various types of beer, and this is without a doubt my favorite brew so far. Perfect blend of hops, easy to brew and even easier to drink. GF don't drop this kit. I'll be brewing this one over and over again as long as it's available.

It's not exact, but it's close! It's also available whenever you want it. This batch went quick, will be brewing again soon! Allow full conditioning but also consume before the aromas dissipate too much.

Very Tasty
One of the first kits I've done....a few things I would do different. 1) Do a much larger boil, I only ended up with about 2.5G of concentrated wort, and I think that impacted my final beer. Also, I think I would try adding most of the extract late in the boil. 2) Also, make sure to let it fully condition. The time schedules given are the bare minimum needed, I think allowing the beer to sit an extra week in the primary, plus 3 weeks of bottle conditioning, you'll get a much better end result. I used the WY1968, and from what I have read will get you closest to the real ZD. Regardless, this beer went away very, very fast.
