This is a GREAT IPA for those that don't normally love IPAs! Tons of hop character, without all the bitterness. Like drinking a juice box :)

Caesar's Treehouse is based off Treehouse Julius, a very commercially-successful and incredibly popular East Coast IPA. This beer, true to style, is fruity, juicy and hazy, just like an East Coast IPA should be! With an aroma described as a "juice box," Caesar's Treehouse uses liquid hop extract shots for bittering, then a ton of flameout hops utilized in a "hop stand" for thirty minutes, and even more dry hops! The grain bill is simple, with two different kinds of oats to lend proteins and body, as well as add to the characteristic haze of the style. Honey malt and carapils also help to give this beer just a touch of character, and corn sugar helps to up the alcohol and dry it out just a bit. The resulting beer is the stuff hazy IPA dreams are made of, with a soft juiciness to the hop component and a nice drinkability. If you haven't yet had the IPAs of the East Coast, Caesar's Treehouse is an excellent introduction to the style!

Juicy Orange IPA!
This has been the most popular beer I've ever brewed! Everyone wanted more, I'll have to brew this is again. I used Imperial Organic Yeast A038 "Juice" Lots of tropical flavors coming through from the whirlpooled hops. When people would first taste it orange and tangerine flavors were the most common flavors detected. Pretty easy to follow, just don't let curiosity get the best of you like it did me. I tasted the hop extract, it was interesting to say the least! :-)

Owner Response: Jose - Thanks for your review, and we couldn't agree more with you about this kit. It is definitely a great beer! In terms of the hop extract; you are a bold bold man. That stuff is powerful :) Cheers! Bryan
Outstanding beer
I brewed this up on 7/29, and was drinking on it on 8/12. I used the A38 Juice yeast, and the yeasties did their job fairly quickly - settling out at 1.011. Poured a beautiful burnt orange in color. The aroma alone was amazing - citrus with a sweet fruitiness. Taste was amazing. First thing you'll notice is the orange/tangerine citrus flavors, along with notes of mango/passion fruit. Don't be deceived - this balances out perfectly with the bitterness on the backend. Head pours a thick white with a fantastic body. If you're reading this review and thinking about ordering this, go ahead and do it. It's totally worth it! On a side note - like the other reviewer, I did taste a sample of the hop shot (just ran my finger over the end of the syringe once I had already added it). Guys, don't do that....just trust me.
