We all love a good hazy IPA, but after one pint of an 8% beer, we're all kind of ready for something else. Because we all want to enjoy MORE of that juicy goodness, we decided to Thiolize a Session IPA with Phantasm Powder and Helio Gazer yeast. The result is a sessionable juice bomb with scintillating white grape and tropical fruit characteristics reminiscent of the most unique hazy IPAs out there. And you can enjoy more than one!
We have given this beer an ounce of Cascade hops that go in with the grains and help to boost thiols in the beer. This, along with the symphony of boil hops and addition of Phantasm Thiol Powder during the whirlpool, allow the Helio Gazer yeast to take thiol production out of this world!
WTF are Thiols?
Thiols are compounds found abundantly in malt and hops, that give off huge tropical notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, and guava. The problem is that these thiols are locked away; inaccessible to homebrewers using traditional ingredients. Now, thanks to science and the geniuses at Omega Yeast, those huge tropical notes can now burst forward in your homebrew creations! Using a mix of malt, certain hop varieties, Phantasm crushed grape powder, and Thiolized® yeast from Omega, you can amp up the juiciness of just about any beer you can think of!
