Hi Razz is a delicious and refreshing raspberry hibiscus saison, here just in time for good weather! This recipe features a simple yet delicious base that includes red wheat and caravienne malts. A single bittering addition of Challenger hops helps to balance the beer. However, the magic begins with an infusion of hibiscus for flavor and color, and is further amplified by raspberry puree, which is added after primary fermentation! We have also chosen this beer to showcase a unique yeast: Omega Yeast Labs' Saisonstein's Monster! This is an original genetic hybrid of a French and a Belgian saison yeast, developed by and exclusive to Omega Yeast Labs. Brew this beer now and enjoy it in the coming warm months!

Our HI Razz Raspberry Hibiscus Saison features Omega Yeast's Saisonstein's Monster (OYL500). This is a true genetic hybrid of their house French and Belgian saison strains that ferments more reliably and thoroughly than its parents. It is spicy, complex, tart, dry, crisp, and excels in high gravity! All the greatness of a Belgian saison strain, with the temperature forgiveness of the French!

Kit Details

Complete instructions are included with the beer kit. Our instructions include target gravity levels, hop addition times, suggested and required equipment lists, and all the important brewing steps! If you need any help, you can just call us!

All of our extract kits come with malt extract, hops, specialty grains (pre-crushed), grain bag, instructions, and yield 5 gallons of delicious homebrew. Yeast is not included but we've provided a selection of recommended yeast (liquid and dry) that you can add to your order in the drop downs above. Clarifying agents (i.e. Irish moss) and priming sugar can be purchased separately.
