Brettanomyces Lambicus from White Labs has all the funky barnyard and horse blanket notes that brewers come to expect from brett, with smoky and spicy phenolics, as well as cherry pie and pineapple fruit esters. Sours flavors are also developed over time with this strain. Wonderful as either a primary strain or as a secondary to add brett character to beers, brett lambicus will deliver an intensity that die-hard brett lovers with go crazy for. This is a great strain to use with fruit, especially cherries, as flavor components are not metabolized during fermentation. White Labs' Brettanomyces Lambicus is a wonderful strain of brett for making lambics and Flanders red and brown ales, in addition to other beers where brett character is desired.

We include complimentary ice packs with ALL liquid yeast orders (if required), but cannot guarantee that the ice packs will stay cold during transit, and thus the yeast can potentially be exposed to hot temperatures. We highly recommend ordering dry yeast during the hot summer months or if you are ordering from a warmer climate. Many times during the winter an ice pack is not needed so we make the determination based on current temperatures and the destination!
